What we install.

  • Whole-house humidifiers and dehumidifiers

Add moisture to dry winter air or remove it from damp air, through the system you already have.

  • Fresh-air ventilation (ERV)

An energy recovery ventilator brings in outdoor air and moves stale air out.

  • Filters and air cleaners

Higher-efficiency filters, plus media or electronic air cleaners, for the system you have.

  • UV lights

Installed in the air handler near the coil.

  • Duct sealing and cleaning

Leaky or dirty ducts can pull in dust and undo a filter upgrade.

  • Duct design

Layout and return-air changes for better airflow in a new or remodeled space.

Where we start

What we look at first.

  • The filter and how it fits
  • The return-air path
  • The ducts, for leaks and buildup
  • Ventilation and humidity in the rooms that bother you

How we work on indoor air.

  1. Step 01

    Tell us what you notice

Dust, smoke odor, stale air, dry or damp rooms. Say when it happens and what system you have.

  2. Step 02

    We check the system

We look at the filter, the return-air path, the ducts and the ventilation before recommending a change.

  3. Step 03

    You choose what fits

We explain what each change addresses and the maintenance it needs, then install the one you choose.

Indoor air questions.

Will a better filter fix smog or wildfire smoke?

A filter catches particles such as dust, pollen and smoke. It does not remove ozone, which is a gas. Our air quality page shows how MERV ratings compare.

Can you add a whole-house dehumidifier or humidifier?

Yes, installed through your heating and cooling system. We check the equipment and the humidity first, then recommend a model.

What does an ERV do?

An energy recovery ventilator brings in outdoor air and exhausts stale air, passing heat and moisture between the two airstreams.

Can leaky ducts affect air quality?

Leaky or dirty ducts can pull dust and insulation fibers from attics and crawlspaces into the air. Sealing and cleaning them is part of the work.

Where do I start if I am not sure what is wrong?

Call or schedule a visit and tell us what you notice and when. Dust, smoke odor, stale air and humidity each point to a different fix.
