Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC equipment, and give the customer an accurate repair estimate.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, controls and parts.
• Test for refrigerant leaks, evacuate and clean systems, and recharge them.
• Start up and troubleshoot conventional and VRF systems.
• Read blueprints.
• Report job status each day in the ServiceTitan mobile app.

Requirements

• 5 or more years as an HVAC technician and 7 or more in the HVAC industry.
• NATE certification. This one is required.
• A driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug test and a background check.
• Fluent English. Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation projects from start to finish, on time, on budget and to quality standards.
• Read blueprints and schematics and lay out the work.
• Supervise installers and helpers, and train new employees and subcontractors.
• Order materials each day and keep staffing within the labor budget.
• Enforce safety rules, inspect the site and file accident reports.
• Keep the installation checklist complete before drywall goes up, and detail custom sheet metal for ordering.
• Send management a project update every day.

Requirements

• 5 or more years as an HVAC foreman and 10 or more in the HVAC industry.
• A high school diploma or equivalent. An HVAC degree or certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, building codes and safety rules, and experience leading a crew.
• A valid driver’s license. Fluent English. Spanish is a plus.
